Big Stitch
Not all quilts were made as “best bed” quilts. Much of the time, women were just trying to put together enough of them to keep their family warm at night. These were utilitarian quilts and meant to be used daily. Big stitch is a faster technique for connecting the three layers without tying. It can be very attractive and also used for bags, garments and art quilts. Ask for supply list. 1 session, $27
