Barbara's Antique

Learn strip cutting and piecing the easy way. Working with pairs of fat quarters, you'll see how quickly this great quilt pulls together.  Ours looks perfect for a young girl, but you can also do it in fire trucks and other novelty prints for guys, or in shirtings and repros for a real antique look. Diamond in the Rough

This is the best and most interesting pattern for scraps I've ever come upon. In addition to working with lots of fabrics and colors, you'll also learn the valuable technique of partial seams.
