*NEW*Friday Night Sewing Circle This year, after many requests, we will begin Karen K Stone’s magnificent New York Beauty. Each month we will make two similar blocks with attention to fabric selection, foundation piecing and curved piecing. Please note that we cannot complete the entire quilt by making 2 blocks per month. An optional add-on class will be offered to finish the quilt if students wish to do so. *NEW*Moonlight Madness Do you ever wonder how designers decide to arrange the colors in their quilts? The “I Do” quilt by Cherry House Quilts is going to be the vehicle we use to get there. We’ll learn how a little planning will give us a WOW quilt. Come for dinner and spend the evening sewing this easy pattern. If you want an extra kit, just let us know. Heritage Block of the Month Kay has selected a new Marti Michell BOM called Heritage. There are 13 traditional blocks which surround a medallion center. Color choices are up to the students so yours can be anything from reproduction to batiks. Our staff will make you a personal kit based on your individual preferences. *NEW*Civil War Chronicles Block of the Month This new BOM by Judie Rothermel tells the stories of twelve women who encountered their own struggles on the homefront while their husbands were away. The quilt is divided into 12 installments and includes the pattern, fabric kit and historical background. You may choose to participate by mail. Sunday School/Monday School With an instructor available to answer any and all questions about your special project, students should expect help completing UFO’s as well as new projects. Learn from other students as they work through decisions and technical problems. Everyone participates in the process with the support of new friends.
