New Clubs coming in 2009!

The Sewing Basket: Look for this new series in the next newsletter. It will be a similar format to the Art Quilt Tool Box, but deal with sewing techniques for both garments and Home Dec. Each workshop will cover a specific topic and you can sign up for the series or individual sessions. We anticipate 6 sessions in 2009.

Scrap Therapy: Give your rotary cutting purpose and rid yourself of some of that stash and those boxes of scraps. This new series will begin in the new year.

The Progressive Quilt Club

This has been another exciting year for progressive students and the quilts have been gorgeous.  Please join us.  Participants will receive kits at our quarterly meetings, selected from commercial pattern companies and assembled based on student's personal preferences.  We begin with an easy project and the quilts become more challenging as the year goes by, covering a variety of styles and techniques in order to explore a wide range of quilting skills.  The goal is to expand your potential as a quilt maker and introduce you to colors and ideas that you might not explore on your own.  No supply list.  There will be a $10 fee assessed to students joining after the first session, but class fees will be prorated.  4 sessions, $360 (in four payments if you prefer)

Sundays 1:30-3 pm - August 31, November 30, March 29, May 31
